Creatures of the Heavenfield that are exterior to humans, as-opposed to Inner Elementals which live on or within humans.

Outer Elementals are in general far more feared, as they incorporate such spirits that have been known to follow or even possess humans. Little is know about such 'Greater Spirits'.

Ghost entities generally fall into the Outer Elementals category. [see Ghosts]
