Broadoak was once a lavish country estate, built in a time when House Emerald was at the height of its powers.

After the Night of Falling Leaves, the estates fell into neglect and have been deserted for over ten years.
The ruins still allow a glimpse of these once-majestic buildings, with statues and crumbling arches almost hidden beneath ivy and briar bushes.

The locals of nearby Swannsforde have their superstitions concerning the area, and speak of the nobles lost upon the Night of Falling Leaves, walking the ruined halls at full moon, forever lamenting their cruel fate.
